Four Potential Endings for Shane McMahon Vs Kevin Owens

When word broke a few months back that Kevin Owens was set to feud with Shane McMahon, the internet let out a collective sigh. As a fanbase, we enjoy seeing Shane on Smackdown every week, but not many of us are interested in seeing him step foot in the ring again, especially not with established stars.

Once the program began, however, we all changed our minds very quickly. Owens was struggling to break out of the upper mid-card post Wrestlemania and his feud with Shane has allowed him to remind us what an excellent performer he truly is. His segment with Vince McMahon the other week was one of the best of the year and his beatdown of Shane McMahon this past week reminded us all why we fell in love with Owens in the first place. His work on the mic has been nothing short of exceptional and there’s little doubt that he will deliver inside the Cell this Sunday night.

The two have also convinced us that this is the match worth watching on Sunday night, and with Jinder and Shinsuke not even taking place inside the cell, it is highly likely that this bout will go on last.

The feud has been so good so far, that fans really don’t want to see it come to an end this Sunday night, and with Wrestlemania season only a few months away, there is every chance that this match will lead into something bigger for Kevin Owens. The ending of the match will go a long way towards informing us as to what direction the company is heading in here, so let’s take a look at the four most likely outcomes this Sunday night.

Triple H helps Shane

Kevin Owens is having one of the best runs of his career right now, and a big match with Triple H at Wrestlemania could be a fitting reward for his work over the last month or so.

With Kevin having beat down Vince a few weeks ago and having evoked the wrath of Stephanie McMahon, he is a one-man wrecking machine when it comes to the McMahon family at the moment.

Raging war with the McMahons can be great for one’s career, just ask CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, or Stone Cold. Triple H has become almost like the big bad of the McMahon clan in recent years and Owens feuding with him once he has done with Shane makes perfect sense.

If Shane is going to win this Sunday, it will definitely not be a clean victory, so it would be safe to assume that, if that is the plan, then someone will have to help him out.

Having his big, bad brother in law come to his aid on Sunday night would be a nice way to continue the feud and to give Owens a reason for going after The Game at Wrestlemania.
