I know many people are probably upset that the Miz won, but I guess that’s what it means to be a top heel. I mean, Miz cheated, so no harm, no foul. It’s not like he beat Bryan in 18 seconds. He escaped by the skin of his teeth. It’s all good.
The story doesn’t end just here. It’s still got mileage. Again, it will be interesting to see where this whole thing goes. I’ve written a whole article about this topic, but I won’t get into it too much. But it is entirely feasible to stretch this whole thing out to Wrestlemania. Just don’t have them fight at every PPV.
Daniel Bryan’s loss at Summerslam will eat at him. Technically, Miz proved him wrong. Daniel Bryan, for all his tough talk, lost. It doesn’t matter that Miz cheated. It won’t say that in the record books. They’ll just say that Miz won at Summerslam.
How will Daniel Bryan deal with this loss? And how will Miz ride his newfound momentum? We shall see what we shall see.
