Cassie Lee is officially back in action, and she’s wasting no time making a statement. After months away from the ring, Lee made her in-ring return at Smash Pro Wrestling on March 1, facing off against Alexia Nicole. But it wasn’t just about getting back between the ropes—Lee had something big to say after the match.
Grabbing the mic, Lee called out Smash Women’s Champion Jody Threat and made it clear she’s coming for the gold in April. And she’s not coming alone. “I’m bringing Jessie McKay with me,” Lee declared, sending the crowd into a frenzy.
This marks Lee’s first match since October 2023, and now, with McKay by her side, it looks like a reunion is in full effect. The duo, formerly known as The IIconics in WWE and later The IInspiration in TNA, are already booked for another match together in April, taking on Nicole Matthews and Kylie Rae at Prestige Wrestling.
With Lee setting her sights on the Smash Women’s Championship and McKay back in the mix, the question now is—could this be the start of a full-blown comeback for the former tag team champions?
Do you think Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay will dominate the indie scene again, or could this lead to something bigger? Drop your thoughts below!
