Shelly Martinez is stepping out of the wrestling ring and into the world of horror—this time, for a shot at becoming the Face of Halloween.

The former WWE and ECW star is currently ranked #2 in her group in a nationwide competition celebrating all things spine-chilling. Fans have until Thursday, October 2 at 7PM PDT to cast their votes and help push her into the final round.

The grand prize? It’s the stuff of horror dreams—$13,000, a feature in Rue Morgue magazine, and the chance to meet three legends of the genre: Jamie Lee Curtis, Matthew Lillard, and Kane Hodder.

Martinez, who’s no stranger to embracing dark aesthetics and eerie vibes, fits right in with the competition’s theme of honoring horror fandom.

The winner of the People’s Choice vote will join Jamie Lee Curtis at a charity event, take part in a ghost hunt alongside Kane Hodder, and meet Matthew Lillard in a private horror-themed meetup. But that’s not all—Rue Morgue magazine will also feature the champion in an exclusive photoshoot, making them a permanent fixture in horror history. Organizers broke down the prize experience like this:

“This year’s Face of Halloween will meet Jamie Lee Curtis at a charity event, meet Matthew Lillard later this year, and attempt to survive the night during a ghost hunt alongside Kane Hodder.”

There’s also a twist—Kane Hodder himself will select an additional horror fan to join the winner for a paranormal investigation. It’s part of what they’re calling Kane’s Choice, offering a second shot at horror immortality. As horror icon Kane Hodder put it:

“The icon will join the champion for a paranormal investigation, as well as select one more horror fan to join in on the bone-chilling experience.”

Martinez has been rallying fans to vote, hoping to lock down the win and solidify her place not just in wrestling history—but horror culture as well.

If you want to help Shelly Martinez haunt the pages of Rue Morgue and claim her spot among horror royalty, cast your vote before the clock strikes 7PM PDT on October 2.
