Fans are used to seeing WWE Superstars who leave the company eventually make a comeback. That’s why it comes as no surprise that a former WWE star, who was released a few years ago, has now hinted at a possible return to NXT.
Former WWE Superstar Lince Dorado commented on an Instagram post by Demand Lucha and sent a message to his fans, as he hinted at making his return to WWE NXT, exciting fans with a cryptic message.
Dorado stated that a special video will be sent soon, expressing gratitude to the fans in Toronto and Canada for their support over the past decade. He further fueled speculation about an NXT return as he wrote “NeXT,” making it clear where his next destination lies.
“A special video will be sent soon. Thank you to the great fans of Toronto and Canada throughout the last decade. I can’t wait for what’s NeXT! Stay #luchalit”
This comes after the Demand Lucha committee and Commissioner made an important decision, as Lince Dorado has agreed to step down and vacate the Lucha Premier Championship.
“I had a long conversation with my family about my future and decided it’s in the best interest to step down as the Lucha Premier Champion and move on to other opportunities.”
Lince Dorado was released as part of WWE’s previous wave of NXT talent cuts back in 2021. As a former member of Lucha House Party, Lince Dorado entertained fans with his high-flying performances and built a loyal following. With WWE working to revitalize NXT and strengthen its roster, Dorado’s return could bring lots of excitement and a recognizable talent to the brand.
