Lacey Lane is officially All Elite.

Fightful Select reports that Lane has signed a deal with AEW after impressing company officials during her recent match against Mercedes Moné for the TBS Championship. While the bout didn’t end in victory, it apparently sealed the deal behind the scenes. Sources confirmed Lane is now part of AEW’s growing women’s division.

The former WWE star — known as Kayden Carter during her time there — didn’t stop at just one AEW appearance. She’s already worked Ring of Honor tapings, including a match for the Interim ROH Women’s TV Title against Mina Shirakawa, and continues to build her name on the independent scene.

Lane’s arrival in AEW comes after a rocky WWE run that ended with frustration and tears. In a recent interview with Denise Salcedo, she described how difficult it was to break through despite holding the Women’s Tag Team Titles with Katana Chance.

“We gave paragraphs and weeks and weeks of ideas. We tried to change ourselves. We tried to change our moves. We tried to do anything possible to give ourselves a better opportunity.”

Even with strong backstage support, Lane said they never felt like the chosen ones.

“Everyone in the back was so supportive. It was crazy… but if you’re just not the picked people, that’s just how it is.”

Now, Lane is determined to flip the script. She’s no longer fighting for approval — she’s fighting to build something new in AEW. And judging by how quickly she’s getting in the mix with top names, she’s already off to a strong start.
