It looks like WWE Hall of Famer JBL might be lacing up the boots on a regular basis again — but not for WWE.

According to the Wrestling Observer Daily Update, John “Bradshaw” Layfield is in talks to become a full-time performer with Juggalo Championship Wrestling (JCW), where he’s made several surprise appearances in recent years.

JCW reportedly wants Layfield for a recurring role on their weekly television show, marking what would be his first full-time gig in wrestling since retiring after WrestleMania 25 in 2009.

JBL has already made multiple moves that hinted at a comeback. He returned to in-ring action for the first time in over a decade at WrestleCade SuperShow in November 2025, where he won a Battle Royal. He had previously appeared for JCW in October 2024, and fans have speculated ever since whether more was on the horizon.

Even more recently, JBL shared footage from a visit to the OVW training facility, where he worked with Jody Malenko and Al Snow — and took his first bump in 16 years.

JBL’s last full-time WWE match came in 2009, when he lost the Intercontinental Championship to Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania 25. He briefly returned for the 2014 Royal Rumble and has since taken on the role of WWE ambassador and guest commentator, while staying active in business and charitable work.

Now, it seems the veteran could be ready for one final run — and this time, it’s with one of wrestling’s most unorthodox promotions.

Would you watch JBL as a regular on JCW’s weekly show? Or should he leave the boots off for good? Drop your take in the comments.
