Former WWE performer Bobby Horne, best known to fans as Mo from Men on a Mission, is currently in the ICU as he battles serious health complications.

On Facebook, WWE Hall of Famer Leilani Kai revealed that Horne is struggling with both a blood infection and pneumonia. She reflected on their longtime friendship, going back to their days together in the mid-1990s WWF locker rooms.

“I’ve known Bobby for many years — all the way back to our WWF days in the mid-’90s. We’ve worked a lot of shows together since then, and he’s always been the same kind-hearted, funny, and dependable person wherever we were — locker rooms, conventions, or long drives on the road.”

Kai explained that Horne’s wife Denise has been by his side throughout the ordeal and is continuing to share updates on his progress as he fights to recover.

“He’s going through a really tough time right now, battling a blood infection and pneumonia, and remains in the ICU. His wife Denise has been by his side every step of the way and has been sharing updates as he continues to fight and show small signs of improvement. Please keep Bobby and Denise in your prayers tonight. He’s a good man and a true friend to so many of us in wrestling.”

Horne rose to fame in the early 1990s as part of the rapping babyface tag team Men on a Mission alongside Mabel (later Viscera). The duo captured the WWF Tag Team Championships during a UK tour in 1994, though the reign ended just days later. When Mabel won the 1995 King of the Ring tournament, Horne transitioned into the role of “Sir Mo” as his tag partner’s manager.

Sadly, this is not Horne’s first health battle. In 2018, he underwent a kidney transplant and has needed lifelong anti-rejection medication ever since. In 2022, he suffered through a liver transplant and a serious case of COVID-19, which also led to a stint in the ICU.

Bobby Horne’s wrestling career may have been brief, but his impact on fans and colleagues has endured for decades. Now, with his health on the line, the wrestling community is rallying behind him.
