Penta threw out an open challenge for his Intercontinental Championship at Madison Square Garden, and now it looks like a major name has stepped up to answer it.

RAW is set for March 30 at Madison Square Garden, where Penta announced he would defend his Intercontinental Title against anyone willing to step up. The open challenge immediately created buzz about who might answer, especially with WrestleMania 42 right around the corner.

Now, Kofi Kingston has made it clear he wants the shot. The four-time Intercontinental Champion took to social media and responded directly to Penta’s challenge, making his intentions known ahead of RAW.

"No se diga mas, cabron. I would love nothing more than to walk into the depths of Hell (New York) and pry the Holy Grail (IC Title) from the vile grips of the Devil himself (Penta). See you tomorrow, amigo."

The situation became even more interesting after WWE’s official social media account reposted Kingston’s message, which strongly suggests this is the direction planned for RAW at Madison Square Garden.

Kingston stepping up makes sense given his recent situation. He has been appearing on his own lately while Xavier Woods remains sidelined with a shoulder injury, and he has also been dealing with tension involving Grayson Waller in recent weeks.

With Madison Square Garden hosting RAW, putting the Intercontinental Title on the line in an open challenge already made the show feel big. Now, with Kingston seemingly answering the call, the match has the potential to be one of the biggest moments of the night.

Do you think Kofi Kingston can win the Intercontinental Title again at Madison Square Garden, or will Penta shut down the challenge? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
