EC3’s next move after his NWA departure may have just been revealed—and it looks like TNA isn’t being subtle about it.
On April 10, TNA Wrestling took to Twitter and dropped a teaser video that immediately got attention. The clip featured a mysterious lockbox, and once it opened, the camera zoomed in to reveal unmistakable clues—EC3’s old gear, his signature symbol, and a foam hand clearly labeled with his name. TNA didn’t explicitly say it—but the message was hard to miss, especially with Rebellion set for April 11 in Cleveland, Ohio.
“BREAKING: You CAN'T MISS #TNARebellion THIS SATURDAY LIVE on PPV and TNA+! Get tickets now and join us at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio:”
That teaser lands just weeks after EC3 started speculation during an appearance on the Inside the Ring, where he was asked directly about a potential return to TNA. Instead of confirming anything, he leaned into the mystery and made it clear he’s focused on moments—not contracts.
“I don’t chase three-letter brands, man. I chase moments. The top one percent returning. Let me quote John Cena: ‘The time is now’—to bring the top one percent and the idea back. But is this a nostalgia run, or something worse? Time will tell.”
He doubled down on that stance, suggesting he wasn’t actively pursuing a deal—but was waiting to see which company would make the right move. EC3 also made it clear that wherever he ends up, it’s about more than just stepping into the ring—it’s about impact.
“I can say with confidence that this is a moment I’m waiting to see play out. If they have a set of balls, they’ll know exactly what to do. I’m not seeking as much as I’m waiting to see what comes. What I’ve learned in wrestling over the past couple of years is alignment—how to be aligned with what’s being created and what’s being portrayed. It’s more than just what you do as an individual in the ring. Wherever I go next, it’s going to be a better place when I get there—and a better place when I leave.”
Now, with TNA dropping a teaser that practically spells it out, the focus shifts to whether EC3 will officially show up at Rebellion—and what version of the “Top 1%” fans are about to get. If this is the comeback, it’s not just a return—it’s a statement play heading into one of TNA’s biggest shows of the year, since the last time fans saw EC3 in TNA was back in 2017.
