Joe Doering is facing another difficult chapter in his ongoing fight against brain cancer, as the former TNA and All Japan Pro Wrestling star is now dealing with a third brain tumor. Doering has been battling the disease for nearly a decade, showing resilience throughout a long and challenging journey.

According to a GoFundMe campaign launched by a family member, he has already undergone radiation treatment and completed his first round of chemotherapy, with several more months still ahead. The message shared on the campaign page explains just how much he and his family have endured over the years.

“As my brother in-law approaches 10 years of battling Brain Cancer, he finds himself in the midst of battling a third brain tumor.”

The situation has placed a heavy burden on Doering’s household, especially as his wife has had to take time away from work to support his ongoing medical and rehabilitation needs.

“This journey has not been easy on them… with Joe not having any family in Canada, all of the load ends up on my sister's shoulders.”

Doering’s condition has also led to significant physical challenges following his last brain surgery in 2022, which was performed on his brain stem. As a result, he developed ataxia on his right side, impacting his mobility and requiring him to rely heavily on a wheelchair in daily life.

“After Joe's last brain surgery… he developed ataxia on his right side, which has greatly impacted his mobility.”

Despite everything, Doering has continued to push forward with determination, maintaining a positive outlook while working through physiotherapy and ongoing treatment.

“However despite this great challenge, Joe has remained determined, focused, and most of all- in good spirits!”

Known for his toughness in the ring, Doering is now fighting a far more personal battle, one that has stretched across years and continues to test him and his family. The GoFundMe campaign remains active as loved ones look to ease the financial strain of continued treatment and provide support during this latest phase of his fight.
