Former ECW Star Opens New Wrestling School In PA

Mikey Whipwreck, a former ECW Champion, has announced the opening of The Underdogs Pro Wrestling School. According to PW Insider, the academy will open up towards the end of August (2018) and be located in Hazelton, Pennsylvania.

Whipwreck has a legacy of training many well-known wrestling personas such as Ring of Honor champion Jay Lethal, and WWE talents like Curt Hawkins, Zack Ryder and Tony Nese. His partner, Tommy Farra, will help him head the academy. Farra was one of Mickey Rourke’s personal trainers when filming the 2008 Darren Aronofsky flick, The Wrestler.
