Saraya isn’t just embracing single life — she’s also opening up about her future family goals.
On a new episode of her Rulebreakers podcast, the former AEW Women’s Champion opened up about her family life and revealed a heartfelt desire for the future: she wants children of her own one day.
While talking about her niece and nephews’ excitement over the Elf on the Shelf tradition, Saraya lit up with stories that hinted at her maternal instincts. She shared a recent phone call with her niece Jada, who didn’t want to brush her hair—something Saraya said reminded her of her own childhood. As she explained how she lovingly coached her niece through the tangle drama, it was clear this was more than just a cute story.
“I was trying to explain to her, you’re going to get mats and you’re going to have to cut it out. It’s going to be bad. So she starts brushing her hair…”
Things took a hilarious turn when Jada claimed “Buddy” the Elf drew on her face in the middle of the night. Saraya recounted the moment with genuine joy: “She runs to the mirror and goes, ‘I didn’t do this, Mommy. I didn’t do it.’”
That’s when her podcast co-host chimed in with, “You would be so good at that.” Without missing a beat, Saraya made it clear she would be good with kids, making it clear that she wants to be a mother one day, saying, “I think I would too. I want to have a kid eventually.”
While she’s not in a rush to jump into another relationship, it’s clear that building a family is still very much part of her vision. From wrestling champion to future mom? Saraya’s story continues to evolve—and fans are along for every step.
