Marko Stunt might have stepped away from the ring—but it sounds like he’s already itching for a comeback.
The 29-year-old former AEW star took to Twitter this week to express his desire to return to pro wrestling after officially retiring in 2024 due to ongoing lower back and hip issues. In a short but telling tweet, Stunt wrote, “I miss wrestling. Someone rehab me.”
Stunt’s wrestling journey is closely tied to AEW’s early days. He rose to national recognition as part of Jurassic Express, aligning with Jungle Boy (Jack Perry) and Luchasaurus. His unique size and high-energy style made him a fan favorite, but after 2021, his appearances on AEW television became increasingly rare.
He eventually returned for one final match in 2024, then quietly retired from the industry, citing serious physical issues that prevented him from continuing. Following his retirement, Stunt transitioned to a new career—becoming a car salesman. In a promotional video last year year, he joked about his career shift, saying that while he used to get thrown around in the ring, now he’s the one throwing around “great deals.”
But that passion for wrestling clearly hasn’t gone away. While Stunt hasn’t given any specifics about what a return might look like, his tweet has already sparked interest among fans who remember his underdog charm.
