Footage Shows Security Restraining CM Punk After WWE Elimination Chamber Loss

The WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event was CM Punk’s last shot at getting a chance at challenging for a World Title at WrestleMania 41. Unfortunately for Punk, he failed to win the Men’s Elimination Chamber match since John Cena was the winner, and now unseen footage has shown Punk being restrained by security following his loss.

The final three participants in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match came down to Seth Rollins, John Cena and CM Punk. After Rollins got eliminated, there were lots of instances where Punk could have won. However, Seth Rollins screwed Punk after hitting a brutal curb stomp, thus letting Cena apply the STF on Punk for the win.

Ringside News has obtained footage of CM Punk after his loss at Elimination Chamber. The Second City Saint was clearly upset and frustrated over his loss. Punk had to be held back by security since there was an instance where he tried to go back to the ring after Cena won, but ultimately, cooler heads prevailed, and Punk was heading to the back.

The Second City Saint has already downplayed the idea of main eventing WrestleMania 41, and now that Seth Rollins clearly screwed Punk over, it’s evident he and Rollins will feud over the next few weeks as we head towards the Showcase of the Immortals.

It’s simply a fact that many fans wanted CM Punk to win the Men’s Elimination Chamber match since he had been on a path of redemption and proven to the world why he is still the Best in the World. Nevertheless, what’s done is done and all fans can do is wait and see how Punk’s program for WrestleMania 41 will be handled.
