A fight broke out in the crowd at AEW Dynamite in Manchester— and it was all caught on camera.

During the December 17 taping inside Co-Op Live in Manchester, a fan was choked from behind in a wild scene after Jack Perry tossed a plushie into the audience. Footage uploaded to Reddit shows a man lunging forward and putting another fan in a chokehold — all over who caught the stuffed toy.

According to the fan who posted the video, a woman and a man grabbed the plushie at the same time. But before anything could be resolved, a third man — wearing a white and black shirt — suddenly rushed in and wrapped his arm around the male fan’s neck, pulling him back in a clear chokehold.

Thankfully, other fans quickly intervened and stopped the attacker before it turned into something worse. The man who was choked did not appear to be seriously injured in the end.

The situation didn’t end quietly. After being separated, the man who started the assault began arguing with fans nearby and eventually walked off — taking the woman with him.

This wasn’t the only controversy during the Manchester taping. Another fan claimed his Palestinian flag was confiscated by security, saying he was told to either hand it over or leave the show — despite having brought it to previous AEW events without issue.

With AEW drawing bigger international crowds, fan safety and crowd management are becoming bigger issues — especially when even a thrown plushie can lead to chaos. So far, AEW has not commented publicly on the incident, but we hope it never happens again.

Was this just a random outburst, or does AEW need to rethink how it handles fan behavior moving forward? Drop your thoughts in the comments — have you ever seen a live event get this out of control?
