The WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event featured the Men’s Chamber match as the main bout, with CM Punk being one of the favorites to win. However, things didn’t go as he had hoped since John Cena picked up the win. That being said, new footage has surfaced showing that Punk had issues with the light on his chamber pod during the match.
Footage circulating on social media shows that CM Punk had problems with the light on his chamber pod during the Elimination Chamber match. The light kept falling off, especially after Damian Priest hit Seth Rollins with the Razor’s Edge, as Rollins landed on Drew McIntyre.
Right after that move, the light simply fell down, and CM Punk had to fix it up again while the fans in attendance kept chanting “Fix the light” and encouraged Punk. Once Punk finally fixed the light again, fans erupted in cheers.
The Second City Saint was also seen being restrained by security following his loss at the Elimination Chamber match since Seth Rollins cost him the bout, allowing Cena to walk away as the winner.
While fans certainly had fun watching CM Punk deal with the pod light, it’s clear he has bigger fish to fry as a program with Seth Rollins and potentially Roman Reigns could take place at WrestleMania 41. Therefore, we’ll have to see how WWE will book Punk in the coming weeks.
