It remains to be seen as to whether Ronda Rousey is going to perform in the WWE as a face or a heel, but if her Mae Young Classic appearances are anything to go by, then the latter looks more likely.
Rousey has a mean streak a mile long and her past, alongside her fighting style, which makes her the perfect antithesis to Bayley. Bayley is everything Rousey isn’t- she’s cute and cuddly and, in kayfabe terms anyway, shy of hurting someone.
Rousey arriving on the roster and bullying everyone could be the perfect storyline needed to kick this one off, with Bayley being forced to stand up in the face of Ronda and finally overcome her on the grandest stage of all. Would Rousey do the business in what is likely to be her only match in the WWE? That remains to be seen, but a win here would work wonders for Bayley, and we all know she desperately needs that.
