The wait is over — Netflix just dropped the first trailer for WWE: Unreal Season 2, and it’s already delivering chaos, emotion, and plenty of real talk from your favorite Superstars.
On January 5, Netflix uploaded the official trailer for the second season of its hit wrestling docuseries to YouTube, giving fans a first look at what’s coming when the show returns on January 20. The trailer kicks off with none other than Paul Heyman bluntly admitting: “I’m not a fan of this show.”
From there, the tone is set for a rollercoaster season. Triple H appears next, hyping up the road to SummerSlam — including the storyline of Seth Rollins’ “fake” injury at Saturday Night’s Main Event, which turns out to be a major point of friction.
Becky Lynch is seen visibly frustrated, upset about having to lie publicly about her husband’s condition. Meanwhile, Rollins shares a lighter moment, revealing that his daughter even exposed his lie at school.
The trailer then shifts to the emotional WWE exit of R-Truth from June 2025, showing reactions from Road Dogg, Rhea Ripley, and Truth himself before his eventual return at Money in the Bank.
Also featured is Jelly Roll, who takes fans behind the scenes of his match at SummerSlam. Chelsea Green, Penta, IYO SKY, Naomi, and GUNTHER all make appearances in what promises to be another raw and revealing season. It all wraps up with Rollins putting the season into perspective: “It’s a beautiful thing. It’s a great thing to see.”
Season 2 of WWE: Unreal premieres January 20 on Netflix — and if the trailer’s any indication, you won’t want to miss a second.
