WWE SmackDown is heading to Barcelona, Spain, and Ringside News has obtained an exclusive first look at the construction inside the Olimpic Arena ahead of the big event.
The image captures the arena in full setup mode, with the ring already positioned in the center and WWE’s production team working on the massive lighting rigs, screens, and stage. The seating sections remain empty for now, but the venue is quickly transforming into WWE’s latest international spectacle.
The event is set to feature a stacked lineup, including “DIY” Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa vs. The Street Profits for the WWE Tag Team Titles, Randy Orton vs. Carmelo Hayes, and Charlotte Flair vs. B-Fab. On top of that, Cody Rhodes will appear on Miz TV as the WWE Champion.
Fans watching at home will catch SmackDown on a same-day tape delay as it airs this Friday on the USA Network at 7CT/8ET.
WWE’s global reach continues to expand, and this latest international event is another example of how the company keeps bringing its top talent to different markets. With the arena now under construction and the card set, all eyes will be on how the action unfolds in Barcelona.
