The June 27th edition of Friday Night SmackDown is almost upon us and the show’s taking place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, so fans expect a different setup for the show. With that in mind, we now have the first look at the setup for SmackDown.
As revealed by footage making rounds online, the full setup for Friday Night SmackDown shows a ring without any sponsorship logos on the mat, no LED barricades and a special stage with a thin ramp where Superstars can make their way to the ring.
This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown is headlined by John Cena making yet another appearance on the show where he will be addressing the WWE Universe ahead of his Undisputed WWE Championship match against CM Punk at Night of Champions.
That’s not all as the company has booked a stacked lineup for fans, including Tiffany Stratton defending the WWE Women’s Title against Nia Jax in a Last Woman Standing Match, Zelina Vega putting her Women’s United States Title on the line against Giulia and more.
WWE is adding an interesting vibe to SmackDown this week with a special international setting and a stacked lineup that includes top stars and championship matches. With the show taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, we’ll have to see how it’ll set the stage for Night of Champions on June 28th, as there’s a lot of hype for the event as well.
Fans won’t have to wait long for spoilers either. Ringside News will have live spoiler coverage starting at 1 PM ET for those who want to know exactly how the action plays out before the show airs.
