John Cena is already diving headfirst into Hollywood life after retiring from the ring—and now he’s finally teaming up with someone he’s admired for years.
The Leader of Cenation took to Twitter to react to the first image from Little Brother, his upcoming Netflix comedy co-starring Eric Andre. The former WWE Champion couldn’t contain his excitement.
“I have wanted to work opposite Eric for a very long time and this photo is many, many years in the making. Cannot wait for you all to stream and enjoy the work of this incredible cast on @netflix!”
The film, directed by Matt Spicer, is set to hit Netflix later in 2026 and features a stacked ensemble including Michelle Monaghan, Chris Meloni, Ego Nwodim, Sherry Cola, Caleb Hearon, and Ben Ahlers. According to Netflix’s official description:
“Here’s your first look at John Cena & Eric Andre in Little Brother. Michelle Monaghan, Chris Meloni, Ego Nwodim, Sherry Cola, Caleb Hearon, and Ben Ahlers co-star in this comedy about a famous real estate agent whose carefully curated world is upended when his eccentric ‘little brother’ unexpectedly reappears.”
The first promotional still features Cena and Andre seated side by side in what looks like an office. Cena wears a stern expression, while Andre is all smiles in a loud, colorful sweater—hinting at the chaotic sibling energy the film will explore.
Little Brother marks Cena’s latest star-studded project since retiring from in-ring action at Saturday Night’s Main Event in December 2025, and it looks like he’s not slowing down anytime soon.
