Finn Bálor surprised many in Belfast when he walked out to “Catch Your Breath” again — and now he’s confirming it may not have been a one-night-only moment after all.

During the January 19, 2026 episode of RAW in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Bálor challenged CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship. While he came up short in the title match, the bigger talking point was his entrance music. For the first time in years, he brought back his original WWE theme, instantly exciting the home-country crowd.

Now, with another World Heavyweight Title match against Punk set for Elimination Chamber on February 28, Bálor has addressed whether the theme is here to stay. Speaking to Adrian Hernandez on February 25, 2026, Bálor was asked directly if “Catch Your Breath” is officially back for good. He admitted that the return initially had a different purpose.

“Nothing lasts forever, but recently I felt like I’d been in a fistfight with one hand tied behind my back. I just decided, hey, I’m going to cut that string and come out all guns blazing.”

Bálor explained that while he appreciated the alternate theme he had been using, there was something special about the original track.

“There’s a time and a place for everything. I love the alternative — ‘Catch Your Breath’ — but I feel like that song just adds an extra little bit of magic to the entrance.”

He then revealed that the Belfast return was originally meant to be a one-off tribute to the hometown crowd. However, the overwhelming reaction changed the plan.

“The idea in Belfast was for it to be a one-night-only thing for the occasion, knowing I’d have the support of the home-country crowd behind me. But it was so well received that it’s probably back for good.”

With Elimination Chamber a few days away and Bálor getting another shot at CM Punk’s World Heavyweight Championship, it appears he’ll be walking into that match with the theme that helped define his early WWE run.

Do you think “Catch Your Breath” should stay as Finn Bálor’s permanent theme — or was it better as a special Belfast moment? Let us know your thoughts.
