The AJ Lee rumor mill has officially caused chaos in the ticket market. With WWE fans speculating hard about a potential return this week, the September 5, 2025 episode of SmackDown in Rosemont, Illinois has seen a massive ticket surge—despite no official confirmation from WWE.

According to WrestleTix on September 3, just 64 tickets remain out of a setup of 15,356 at Allstate Arena. That means 15,292 tickets have already been distributed, with +453 sold in the last 24 hours alone. To put it in perspective, that number crushes WWE’s 2025 average of 11,352 fans per show.

The cheapest ticket left? A floor seat priced at $530.90. Resale listings currently sit at 249, with even obstructed view sections under review for possible expansion.

Sections 105 and 108 are being monitored for additional partial openings, and sections 206 and 207 may be tapped for extra obstructed-view seating—indicating WWE could be preparing for an even larger crowd if demand continues.

The surge clearly aligns with fan speculation that AJ Lee could make her surprise return on SmackDown, especially following her confirmation for WrestlePalooza later this month. While there’s been no official announcement, the timing, city, and buzz around Lee’s WWE comeback have made this SmackDown a must-watch—and now, a nearly sold-out event.

Fans who want to be there live are scrambling to grab the last seats, just in case they witness AJ Lee’s return in person.

Do you think AJ Lee will show up on Smack Down before Wrestle Palooza, or will WWE hold off until the big event? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
