WWE is entering a new era after moving to Netflix with the January 6th episode of RAW. While the streaming experience has mostly been smooth, many fans faced technical difficulties during the February 3rd edition of RAW and called out WWE for the issues.
A fan took to Twitter and expressed their frustration about the video glitches during WWE Raw on Netflix, calling it embarrassing and questioning what they were paying for since other services don’t have similar issues, saying, “The video glitching on @WWE Raw on @netflix is embarrassing. What are we paying for? This doesn’t happen with other services.”
Another fan took to Twitter and uploaded a video showing technical glitches during the end of RAW after CM Punk defeated Sami Zayn. The fan expressed frustration, criticizing Netflix for raising prices and for the major glitches during the WWE Raw live show.
“What the hell is this @netflix ?! First you raise prices and now the @WWE Raw live show is glitching like CRAZY! DO BETTER! #WWEonNetflix #WWERaw #Netflix”
Yet another fan took to Twitter, asking for a fix for the glitching issues during WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix. They pointed out that for nearly $20 a month, this shouldn’t be happening, expressing frustration with the ongoing technical problems throughout the night.
“Can we fix Netflix and WWE Monday night raw it’s pretty bad what’s up with all the glitching all nite long for almost $20 a month this should not be happening Netflix #WWEonNetflix #WWERaw #wwe #netflix.”
A fan then uploaded another clip of the broadcast glitching during RAW, stating that they didn’t realize the Wyatt Sicks were hired by Netflix, saying, “I didn’t realize the Wyatt 6 were hired at Netflix HQ -_-“
Another fan complained that whoever is in charge of the Netflix glitch during WWE Raw needs to fix it. They said it was a horrible experience that night, saying, “Yo, whoever is responsible for this Netflix glitch on WWE Raw has to get this s*** together. This was HORRIBLE tonight.”
This comes after Netflix’s COO Bela Bajaria claimed the streaming platform was ready for Monday Night RAW’s transition. Therefore, it’s evident that WWE and Netflix have some work to do to meet fan expectations, especially with the increasing subscription costs.
