Hulk Hogan may be gone, but his fans aren’t letting Real American Beer off the hook after the brand decided to remove the Hulkster in their new redesign.

On February 4, 2026, the company announced on Twitter that it had officially rebranded after surpassing 10 million cans sold. That rebrand includes a new logo, fresh taglines, and most controversially: the complete removal of Hulk Hogan’s image from all standard packaging going forward.

Even though Real American Beer is still running a limited-time “Golden Ticket” promotion—offering fans a chance to win $5,000 and a 12-pack signed by Hogan—supporters are seeing the move as a betrayal of the man who helped build the brand.

The backlash was instant—and vocal. One fan took to Twitter and echoed Hogan’s iconic promos in protest, making it clear they were not happy with the brand’s decision to remove the Hulkster.

"Well let me tell you something brother. no way any of the little hulksters will buy this again dude so listen Jack you get the Hulkster back on this can brother, otherwise whatcha gonna do when all the hulkamaniacs run wild on you!!!!"

Another longtime supporter blasted the company for turning on Hogan after all he did to promote the beer, saying, “Hulk literally worked himself to death to promote this and now you guys have turned on him and removed him from everything???? Horrible.”

A different fan kept it short and brutal: “Yeah that’s gonna be a no for me brother!” Others unfollowed the brand entirely, with one user writing: “Trash. Unfollowed and never buying again.” And one of the harshest reactions came from a buyer who made it clear why they ever supported the product in the first place:

“Worst decision ever. I bought the beer to support Hogan. I continued buying it to support his legacy. I won’t support it anymore.”

Although a report from TMZ notes that Real American Beer may still release special edition “Hulk” cans in the future—similar to its posthumous Hulkamania Forever line—the main product line will now move forward without the late WWE icon’s face. It’s the end of an era, and judging by the reactions, fans aren’t ready to turn the page.
