Tony Khan can hype Dynamite all he wants—but Twitter users only want to talk about Ron.

On January 28, 2026, the AEW President tweeted out a promo for tonight’s AEW Dynamite episode, promising it would be “stacked” and encouraging fans to tune in on TBS or HBO Max.

“TONIGHT, don’t miss Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite at 8pm ET/7pm CT! You can watch on either @TBSNetwork + HBO Max TONIGHT! I promise that it will be a great show, Dynamite is stacked tonight! You shouldn’t miss @AEWonTV TONIGHT!”
“Thank you all who watch @AEW! See you TONIGHT!!”

But the replies? Brutal. Fans instantly hijacked the comments with jokes about “Ron”—the alleged burner account that former PR rep Nick LoPiccolo claimed Khan was secretly operating. The Ron jokes didn’t stop.

“Is this promise from Tony or Ron?” one fan asked.
“MY MAN RON!!!” another posted.
“Will Ron be there in attendance?”
“Nice try, Ron.”
“Looks like a good show Ron.”

The replies were a direct reference to LoPiccolo’s January 27 post, where he accused the now-locked @Ron11479281 account of being a Khan burner used to harass critics, leak inside information, and target mutual enemies. LoPiccolo tied the alleged account to his own suspension from Twitter, which happened shortly after he tagged NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

AEW talent Ricochet had already trolled the situation earlier in the day, claiming he was Tony Khan’s burner account, saying, : “Guys, I’m actually @TonyKhan burner account. 👑 #LetsFGo”

But fans clearly weren’t done—and Khan’s attempt to pivot the focus back to Dynamite ended up becoming ground zero for more trolling. As of now, Tony Khan has not publicly addressed the burner account accusation, and the “Ron” account remains deactivated or locked.

Do you think fans took it too far, or is it all fair game in wrestling Twitter drama? Let us know what you think—and whether “Ron” should get a segment on Dynamite!
