Fans Experience Issues Streaming SummerSlam 2025 Broadcast

WWE had a lot of cards on the table for SummerSlam, but some fans weren’t able to watch the show easily.

Ringside News noticed a couple of people complaining about their stream for SummerSlam, so we sent out a post on X. In response to our question about whether anyone was having any issues, multiple users responded with reports of technical difficulties. While many viewers said the stream was running smoothly, others shared that they experienced freezing and app crashes during the broadcast.

Twitter user @DonnieStuart1 noted that the stream randomly freezes, while @AdamB_11 added that it would freeze for a split second before resuming. Another viewer, @HowYaDoin27, stated that the issue was on Peacock’s end and said the app had crashed for some users, though it appeared to be running again.

Some fans were a bit upset about this development, because they just wanted to see the SummerSlam broadcast without any issues. Although there were some who were able to watch the show without any problems, that wasn’t the case for others.

A ton of fans are watching SummerSlam right now, so it’s understandable that Peacock will be flooded with WWE fans. Still, this isn’t WWE’s first go on the popular streaming app, so Peacock certainly knew what to expect.
