Rhea Ripley and Jade Cargill’s feud is already getting attention — but now Nia Jax is being dragged into the drama after a social media comment that fans believe was aimed straight at Cargill.

On March 13, 2026, Ripley posted a gym photo on social media showing off her training session. Jax jumped into the comments with a message that many fans believe was aimed directly at Cargill, whose physique and presentation have often been compared to Ripley’s in recent weeks: “We love good FUNCTIONAL muscles.”

Because Ripley is currently feuding with Women’s Champion Jade Cargill — a rivalry that has repeatedly been framed around Ripley’s functional strength versus Cargill’s bodybuilder-style look — fans quickly interpreted Jax’s comment as obvious shade.

The reaction online came fast, with several users blasting Jax for what they viewed as unnecessary involvement in the situation. One fan said the comment was becoming painfully obvious: “lol it’s getting embarrassing and obvious now.” Another fan went much further, accusing Jax of constantly targeting other women in the division.

“nia jax loves on abusive and bigoted men whilst going out of her way to shit talk EVERY woman who's ultimately better than her (that doesn't relentlessly kiss her ass) because her nepo baby card wasn't able to purchase her a halfway decent career or in-ring talent.”

Others mocked what they see as a pattern whenever Ripley and Cargill interact online: “nia vs not being weird about jade in proximity to rhea on social media challenge. and she’ll lose it every time.” Another fan criticized the tone of the comment entirely.

“For a woman that’s ‘allegedly’ turned her life around and is a Christian, she surely is MESSY ASF.”

The drama comes after Ripley and Cargill’s own social media exchange gained traction earlier in the week. During that back-and-forth, Ripley fired off a pointed message that quickly got attention online.

“Not having fun. Not friends. Learn to work and never lie to defame someone’s real human character by ‘breaking the 4th wall.”

Some initially wondered whether the posts were part of a storyline, but a Fightful Select report later stated that talent insist the tweets themselves weren’t a coordinated work. Despite that, there reportedly isn’t concern within WWE about the two stars working together.

Now with Jax stepping into the mix — intentionally or not — the social media discussion around Ripley and Cargill’s rivalry just got a lot louder, and Jax clearly became a target.
