Chelsea Green is now facing backlash of her own — and it’s tied to her maintaining a friendship with Marty Scurll.
On April 6, 2026, fans turned their attention to Green after Scurll posted an Instagram birthday tribute where he cosplayed as her. Green replied to the post in a lighthearted way — but that reaction didn’t sit well with a lot of people, especially given Scurll’s past controversy. Her response was simple — but it immediately sparked backlash: “Hahahahahaha THIS IS SO GOOD.”
From there, fans flooded Twitter and went straight at Green, criticizing her for maintaining any kind of friendly interaction with Scurll, due to his connection to unresolved allegations involving a 16-year-old during the #SpeakingOut movement in 2020.
One fan didn’t hold back, calling out the situation directly: “It CANNOT be that f****** hard to stop being friends with sexual predators.” Another fan questioned whether this behavior was surprising at all, while also taking shots at her past online presence.

Another fan admitted the situation changed how they view her, even if they weren’t actively following her before: “I mean, I can’t speak for others, but yeah, this shit sucks. I already don’t watch, never talk about her, so like, I can’t stop actively supporting her because I never did, but I certainly think less of her, yes.”
And one more fan accused her of hypocrisy, tying this moment to how she presents herself publicly: “Tries to slander jades name and acts like a wholesome lockeroom leader but friends with a pedophile, you can’t make this s*** up bro lmao ”
The backlash comes after Hangman Adam Page faced similar criticism for appearing in a photo with Scurll earlier this year — showing how sensitive the topic remains across the wrestling world. So, this isn’t just about one comment anymore. The reaction is loud, personal, and not slowing down, and it’s putting Chelsea Green in the middle of a conversation she didn’t control but now has to deal with.
