The Clash in Paris Premium Live Event had a lot of memorable moments from top to bottom, but it appears that one fan has called out WWE for a disappointing experience with their expensive “Gold Package” deal for the event.

A fan called out WWE after their disappointing experience with the Clash in Paris “Gold Package,” which cost $2,700 for two tickets, or $1,350 each. Two days before the event, the fan received their entry ticket, which had a face value of €276.50, which was about $323. This meant the add-on portion of the package cost over $1,000 per person.

The package was advertised to include pre-show hospitality with WWE Superstar appearances, unlimited food and drinks, a commemorative WWE Clash in Paris x Priority Pass gift, a souvenir to be collected at check-in, and a dedicated Priority Pass entrance.

I paid $2,700 for two tickets, so $1,350 each. Two days before the event, I received my entry ticket, which had a face value of €276.50 (around $323). That means the actual ‘Gold Package’ add-on cost about $1,027 per person.

What was advertised
• Pre-Show Hospitality with WWE Superstar appearances + all-inclusive food & drinks
• All-inclusive food & drinks available during hospitality
• Commemorative WWE Clash in Paris x Priority Pass gift
• Souvenir to be picked up at check-in
• Dedicated Priority Pass entrance”

What they actually got was far less impressive. The “priority check-in” was poorly managed, resulting in a 45-minute delay entering the arena. While the unlimited food and drinks were good quality, the “Priority Pass” turned out to be just a lanyard and badge with the event logo, and the promised souvenir was nothing more than a Clash in Paris pin.

The pre-show hospitality was another letdown. Although it lasted two hours, WWE Superstars were present for only about one hour, standing in front of a photo wall where fans could take quick pictures. Interaction time was limited to just a few seconds. The Superstars who appeared were Wyatt Sicks, Rusev, and B-Fab.

In the end, the fan felt that paying more than $1,000 for food and three brief photo opportunities was not worth the price, especially since the included seats were not even among the best in the arena.

What we actually got
The so-called ‘priority check-in’ was poorly managed, and we ended up entering the arena 45 minutes late.
• Food (finger food) and drinks were indeed unlimited and honestly pretty good quality
• The ‘Priority Pass’ was just a lanyard and badge with the event logo
• The ‘souvenir’ was simply a Clash in Paris pin

Pre-Show Hospitality
This part left me a bit disappointed. The hospitality lasted 2 hours, but only for about one of those hours did Superstars come into the lounge. They stood in front of a photo wall, and everyone lined up just to take a quick picture. Interaction time: about 5 seconds before/after the photo.

The Superstars present were Wyatt Sicks, Rusev, and B-Fab.

In the end, paying over $1,000 for some food and three quick photos felt pretty steep—especially considering the seats included weren’t even the best ones. (I marked on a map where my section was to give you an idea.)”

WWE put on a great show at Clash in Paris, but one fan’s experience with the expensive Gold Package raised questions about whether VIP deals are really worth the money. So while some fans may feel the extras and Superstar access are worth the price, others could leave feeling let down.

Would you pay over $2,700 for WWE’s Gold Package if it meant food, drinks, and limited Superstar access, or do you think fans should expect more for that kind of money? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
