There’s a new champion in WWE NXT’s fast lane—and her name is Fallon Henley.
On the November 25 episode of NXT on the CW Network, the vacant WWE Speed Women’s Championship finally found a new home. Henley defeated Zaria in the tournament finals during night two of Gold Rush, taped last week at The Theater at Madison Square Garden.
The title was vacated after Sol Ruca stepped down due to injury. While Ruca could’ve chosen Zaria to defend the title for her, she opted to vacate it after Zaria previously failed to hold on to the North American Title under similar circumstances.
Still, Zaria entered the tournament in her own right and fought hard to reach the final—beating Wren Sinclair in the semis. Henley advanced after defeating Skylar Raye. But when it came down to the final showdown, Henley sealed the win and walked away as champion.
This marks Henley’s third title reign in NXT. She previously held the NXT Women’s North American Championship from October 2024 to February 2025 and also won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles alongside Kiana James back in early 2023. With the WWE Speed Women’s Title around her waist, Fallon Henley just hit a new gear.
Is Fallon Henley the right choice to carry the Speed Women’s Title forward? Or should Zaria have taken it home? Let us know your take in the comments.
