There’s a fake Bob Holly account making the rounds on Twitter, and it didn’t just appear out of nowhere—it’s the same bogus account that previously impersonated wrestling legend Sid Vicious until his passing.

After going quiet for a while, the account has now been rebranded under the name of WWE veteran Bob Holly, and fans are being warned not to fall for it.

The handle @TheBobHolly is posing as the former WWE Superstar and has already racked up over 69K followers. The profile claims: “Former WWE Superstar. Track Champion at MIS. Co-author of ‘The Hardcore Truth: The Bob Holly Story.’”

It also links to an Amazon page and lists Mobile, Alabama as its location. But the problem is Bob Holly hasn’t used Twitter in years—and this account is 100% fake. Some of the tweets from the impersonator include:

  • “Karrion Kross is cool.”
  • “Triple H loves Sami Zayn. That’s scary.”
  • “I would’ve loved to look across the ring and see Sami Zayn in the Brawl for All days.”
  • “Vince Russo is a good human being.”

These posts have started to gain traction with fans who assume they’re hearing directly from the former Hardcore Champion—but it’s all a ruse. The same account has a track record of impersonation, having previously pretended to be Sid Vicious before quietly rebranding after Sid’s death.

This situation isn’t just misleading—it’s disturbing. Impersonating legends who’ve passed away and then recycling the account under a new identity is not only deceptive, but deeply disrespectful.

Have you seen people fall for this fake Bob Holly account? Should platforms be doing more to stop impersonator accounts like this? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
