Matt Riddle isn’t shutting any doors when it comes to his future—and that includes possibly teaming up with Vince McMahon if the wrestling tycoon launches a new company.

Speaking on Going Ringside, Riddle touched on WWE’s shake-ups over the past two years and acknowledged that change is just part of the business. But when asked about rumors of McMahon launching a new company, Riddle didn’t hesitate to make it known that he’s keeping his options wide open.

“Well, you know what? In any business, especially in entertainment, you’re eventually going to run into a shake-up, right? Uh, I like the shake-up. I think entertainment is a business of change. They got rid of Vince. But from what I hear, there might also be a new opening for Vince. You know, through the grapevine. Yeah, through the grapevine, I’ve heard Vince might have another company.”

And if that’s the case, Riddle made it clear that he’s willing to listen to offers.

“Oh, I’m interested in working with anybody, bro. I’m an independent contractor, bro. Like, unlike when I was under contract with WWE, I can actually work anywhere, wherever I want, when I want, for however much money I want now. You heard it, Vince! You heard it here first!”

While Riddle’s enthusiasm is obvious, McMahon’s rumored new venture isn’t about wrestling at all. Instead, reports suggest that McMahon is shifting gears into film and television, marking a major departure from his decades-long dominance in pro wrestling. Sources say the company will focus on producing fiction and non-fiction entertainment projects, but its official launch is still pending, largely due to McMahon’s ongoing legal issues.

What’s even more interesting is that several former WWE executives and talent are already involved in the groundwork for the new company, though details remain under wraps. This has led to speculation about whether McMahon plans to reunite with past WWE names in this new endeavor, potentially offering opportunities to familiar faces like Riddle.

At this point, Riddle’s comments show he’s ready for whatever comes next. After his exit from WWE, he’s been vocal about the freedom of being an independent contractor and is clearly open to jumping into something different.
