Ex-WWE Superstar in Attendance for March 4 NXT Episode

Shawn Spears walked out of WWE NXT as the new North American Champion, and his wife, former WWE Superstar Cassie Lee (Peyton Royce), was in attendance to witness the moment.

Lee was spotted in the crowd during the March 4 episode of NXT, watching as Spears pulled off the victory over Tony D’Angelo in the main event. The match saw D’Angelo battling through injuries and interference from both The Family and Spears’ stable before Spears capitalized on D’Angelo’s weakened back, hitting a C4 to secure the pinfall.

Lee’s appearance comes just days after she made her in-ring return at Smash Pro Wrestling on March 1, where she faced Alexia Nicole. After months away from the ring, she made it clear she’s looking to make an impact.

With Spears now holding gold in NXT and Lee getting back into action, some fans are already wondering if she could make a return to WWE in some capacity.
