Shotzi Blackheart has officially arrived in Major League Wrestling, and she didn’t waste any time making an impact. During Summer of the Beasts on June 26, 2025, Shotzi made her way to the ring, sporting a cast on her left arm and a message for the MLW women’s division.
Speaking directly to Yuki Kamifuku, Shotzi showed her respect and lit a fire under the division. “From one badass to another, she says that Yuki is impressive. The MLW Women’s Division is about to enter a new era of excellence. It is about to be on fire. Yuki, you just lit the match.”
Yuki responded by thanking Shotzi, expressing her desire to wrestle more in the United States. “Maybe wrestle against Shotzi,” she added.
Shotzi was all in, replying, “That is what she is talking about. That would be a dream match for her to do it in MLW. She says one day, let’s do it.”
But the moment didn’t stay peaceful for long. Ava Everett interrupted, mocking Shotzi and making it clear she wasn’t about to let the newcomer steal the spotlight. Shotzi is so cute,”Ava began, before adding, “When they talk about MLW’s women’s division, they talk about her. She is an international superstar and she has been in MLW longer than Shotzi. Shotzi is not going to go to the front of the line.
Shotzi wasted no time firing back, telling Ava “She talks a lot of crap for someone who hasn’t backed it up in the ring.” Shotzi then suggested they fight.
That’s when Salina de la Renta, MLW’s Vice President of Talent Relations, hit the stage to settle things. She announced that Shotzi and Ava will go one-on-one at Blood and Thunder, airing August 9. Shotzi’s return to MLW couldn’t have been more chaotic—exactly the way she likes it.
