The Knockouts division got a serious dose of history this week as wrestling icon Jazz made her return to TNA iMPACT!
The former WWE Women’s Champion shocked fans when she entered the Knockouts No. 1 Contender Battle Royal as a surprise entrant during TNA’s latest episode, taped in San Antonio, Texas.
Jazz, who dominated women’s wrestling in the early 2000s, proved she still has plenty of fight left, stepping into the ring with top names like Rosemary, Xia Brookside, and Jody Threat. However, despite her legendary status, she couldn’t outlast Savannah Evans, who won the match with an assist from NXT’s Cora Jade.
With the victory, Evans has secured a shot at TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich next week.
Jazz last wrestled for TNA in 2021 before officially retiring, making her return even more shocking. Whether this was a one-off appearance or the start of something more remains to be seen, but one thing’s for sure—she just reminded everyone why she’s one of the toughest to ever step in the ring.
Should Jazz stick around in TNA, or was this the perfect way to close out her career? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
