Donovan Dijak has been making moves on the independent scene since parting ways with WWE in Summer 2024, but it looks like he’s got his eyes set on a potential home in TNA Wrestling.
During an interview with WrestlePurists, Dijak didn’t hold back about his interest in stepping into a TNA ring.
“I’d love the opportunity to work for TNA if they are interested in the opportunity to work with me. I think they are doing great things, and I have expressed my interest to them recently. Once again, it’s just timing,” Dijak revealed.
While TNA seems to be his preferred landing spot, Dijak hasn’t ruled out All Elite Wrestling either. The former NXT star has strong ties to AEW’s sister promotion, Ring of Honor, and recently visited the AEW locker room, catching up with old friends.
Reflecting on that experience, Dijak said, “It went great, I got to see so many familiar faces that I hadn’t seen in seven years. I really enjoyed that.”
However, he hasn’t had a direct conversation with Tony Khan about joining the company—yet.
“We haven’t had the opportunity to speak yet, but I would love to have a conversation with him [Tony Khan],” he added. “Not surprised whatsoever. The business is all about timing. When the timing is perfect, then that will be the best opportunity for us to speak.”
With Dijak putting himself on the radar for both TNA and AEW, the real question is—where will he end up? Would you rather see Dijak in TNA or AEW? Let us know in the comments!
