Cora Jade isn’t in WWE anymore, but she’s still fighting—and this time, she took it to Twitter.

The former NXT star, who was released earlier this month and is now going by her original ring name Elayna Black, posted a throwback video from the hospital following her ACL surgery in 2023. It was a vulnerable, real moment showing just how far she’s come. But of course, it didn’t take long for someone to crawl out of the comment section to ruin it.

Jade captioned the heartfelt clip with a message about perseverance and her plans to take over the next two years: “Came across this video I took after my knee surgery last year that I forgot about and never posted. Things have certainly gone quite a different direction since this but nonetheless, the goal is still the same. Making the rest of 2025 & 2026 MY YEARS. See you soon ⏳”

But one user didn’t care about the context or the recovery. Instead, they took a cheap shot, commenting: “Are you going to post whatever video you made after each of your cosmetic surgeries?”

Jade wasted no time firing back with one of the most savage clapbacks we’ve seen this year—complete with a screenshot of the troll’s profile photo for added emphasis.

“Probably not considering I only had one, but I can recommend a great plastic surgeon for whatever the f*ck is happening here.”

With that, Jade shut down the insult and flipped the narrative entirely—turning the troll into the punchline of their own failed roast.

Between calling out AEW talent like Deonna Purrazzo and putting Twitter critics in their place, Jade—now reclaiming her indie name Elayna Black—is clearly still in fighter mode. She may not be tied to a promotion right now, but the attitude and energy are as strong as ever.

Do you think Elayna Black handled that troll the right way—or should she have ignored it? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
