Elayna Black—formerly known to WWE fans as Cora Jade—is wasting no time jumping back into the ring after her WWE release. The former NXT standout has locked in a number of independent dates, including a high-profile match set for July 5.

GCW’s The Top Play event in Hartford, Connecticut, will see Elayna Black go head-to-head with rising WWE I.D. talent Zayda Steel in a first-time-ever clash. The matchup already has indie fans talking, as it’s a unique face-off between a former WWE star and a potential future one.

Elayna’s post-WWE calendar is stacked. In addition to GCW, she’s also set to compete for promotions like Black Label Pro, Atomic Legacy Wrestling, and Top Talent Wrestling.

GCW’s July 5 show will also feature names like Effy, Mance Warner, Jonathan Gresham, 1 Called Manders, Dr. Redacted, Matt Tremont, Ace Romero, Ultramantis Black, and The Astronauts.
