Karrion Kross has been on an absolute roll lately, largely due to his powerful promos on WWE TV and social media. However, fans noticed he was missing from the May 12th episode of Raw and now a former WWE star has come to Kross’ defense by pointing out how WWE doesn’t like it when stars get over on their own.

A fan took to Twitter to call out WWE for not featuring Karrion Kross on Raw, questioning why the top-selling merch star wasn’t given any screen time, saying, “So the #1 WWE T-shirt seller gets ZERO time on Raw tonight??? TICK TOK, WWE. #WWERaw”

Former WWE Superstar Baron Corbin took to Twitter and responded to the fan, stating that WWE doesn’t like it when Superstars get over on their own, pointing to Kross, as he said, “They don’t like it when you get over on your own!”

A fan then responded to Baron Corbin, saying that stars who seem bitter about WWE will never surpass their time there because they relied on the company’s name and support. The fan added that if someone truly got themselves over while in WWE, they should prove it now, like Matt Cardona is doing outside the company.

“No offense but all you who act bitter, will never be bigger than your time there as you needed their name and push. If you truly got yourself over while there, then show us NOW like Matt Cardona is doing and we’ll take you seriously. Otherwise you’re just another BIG GUY…”

Baron Corbin called the fan an idiot and said his tweet wasn’t about himself because he enjoyed his time in WWE and was never held back. He explained he was talking about Karrion Kross, who’s been working really hard on his own. Corbin added that WWE doesn’t always like it when someone becomes popular without their help, but he hopes Triple H sees things differently now.

“You idiots hurt me head. My tweet has nothing to do with me!!! I loved my time there. I was never held down or anything. It loved every day. I’m talking about kross. He’s busting his ass own his own. They don’t always like that. Hopefully hhh does. It’s different now.”

This comes after we have previously reported that fans can expect Karrion Kross to receive more opportunities on television, as WWE plans to flesh out his character but his absence from Raw this week definitely puzzled fans. Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see if WWE will decide to properly push Kross soon enough as fans feel he deserves it, including Baron Corbin.
