Summer Sorrell may be done with WWE—for now—but she has something even bigger on the horizon.
The former WWE LFG talent just announced on Instagram that she’s officially engaged and getting married on February 27, 2026. The post included a series of wholesome photos alongside her fiancé, giving fans a look into her next chapter—and this time, it’s outside the ring.

Sorrell’s engagement news comes after she broke her silence on being released from WWE’s developmental system. In an emotional post, she talked about how much wrestling meant to her and how injuries held her back from showing the world what she was truly capable of.
“It is hard to find the right words to express what wrestling means to me. I have developed a passion and love for this business that is unlike anything I have felt before.”
Despite only wrestling seven matches under the WWE banner, Sorrell said her time at the Performance Center meant the world to her—even the difficult moments.
“I have loved every second. From long, stressful days filming, to challenging days in the ring, to many hours of rehab. Not a moment went by where I didn’t feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”
She also revealed that a recurring injury for the majority of her time in the WWE Performance Center, which limited her ability to perform at her full potential.
“The reality is that I struggled with the same ongoing injury during a majority of my time at the performance center. This held me back from ever being able to show my true potential in the ring.”
While her final WWE match took place on September 7, 2025, in a loss to Bayley Humphrey, Sorrell made it clear her story isn’t over.
“If that was only a fraction, imagine what happens when I’m finally at a hundred percent… the story doesn’t end here — it finally gets interesting.”
Now, she’s turning the page with a wedding on the way and plenty of future plans. Whether those include a wrestling return remains to be seen—but for now, she’s making love the main event.
