Ethan Page Shuts Down Mr. Iguana In NXT North American Title Match At Deadline

WWE NXT Deadline was the final event of 2025 for the brand. So, they brought a lot to the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas. The North American Title match was quite a show, and Mr. Iguana brought his unique charisma to the table in a big way.

Ethan Page wasn’t looking to defend his NXT North American Title at Deadline, but NXT General Manager Ava had other ideas. After Mr. Iguana stole Page’s ride, the match was more than set.

Fans were all behind Mr. Iguana, and he did all of his signature moves. Ethan Page sold along with everything that the painted Superstar threw at him. Then Page spit on La Yesca, and Mr. Iguana didn’t like that at all. Eventually, Page was selling so much to Iguana that he was painted green from rubbing off from his opponent. However, Ethan Page was able to hit his finisher and win the match.

Mr. Iguana has been a standout performer, thanks to WWE’s latest deal with AAA. He’s been popping up since then, and only time will tell if this is the beginning of so much more for the puppet wielding Superstar. That being said, it was still Ethan Page’s night at Deadline.
