The December 30 episode of NXT was the brand’s last chance to make noise in 2025. They kicked off the episode with a hard-hitting match for the NXT North American Title.

Ethan Page defended his title against Moose, who came in from TNA Wrestling for this match. They didn’t even get the ring introductions out before Page jumped Moose to start the match. They soon spilled to the outside, where the two beat the referee’s count out, and then they returned to the ring as Ethan Page gained control with a big neckbreaker.

Moose started to rally after they came back from commercial break. He got a nearfall after a flurry of big power moves, but the match continued. Ethan Page returned with a big lariat and a Confidence Breaker for another very close near fall.

Page and Moose both got back to their feet, but then they went to ringside, where Moose sent Page through the barricade with a spear. Moose threw Page back in the ring after that and he nailed the second spear of the match, but All Ego got his foot on the bottom rope.

Page was able to nail a backdrop on the ring steps outside. In the end, Ethan Page was able to nail a Twisted Grin and retain the title. This was a hard-fought defense, but All Ego will close out 2025 as North American Champion.
