Ethan Page is never afraid to speak his mind and stir the pot whenever he feels like it. In fact, he recently made a reference to O.J. Simpson and his infamous white Bronco car while interacting with a young fan.

Ethan Page took to Twitter and uploaded a video where he interacted with a young fan. Page clowned the kid named OJ by referencing OJ Simpson and the infamous white Bronco chase, joking about the kid’s name and asking if he drove a white Bronco since he was now on camera, saying, “What’s your name? OJ? That’s an interesting name. You drive a white Bronco? And now you’re on camera, so let’s go.”

Page pointed out that the kid was about to say Fortnite when it comes to his favorite game but second-guessed himself, telling him to have confidence. Page then flexed a bit, noting he’s a co-writer of a comic book and questioning if the kid was there just to list his accolades.

“You were gonna say Fortnite first and second-guessed yourself. Gotta have confidence. Yeah, I’m a co-writer of a comic book—are you here to list my accolades?”

When he asked if the kid liked Trick Williams, Joe Hendry, and CM Punk, and the kid said yes to all three, Page responded that he didn’t like any of them. He challenged the kid, asking who he didn’t like and whether he disliked Ethan Page himself. He then told the kid to pretend he wasn’t standing there and asked what he would say to Ethan Page.

“Do you like Trick Williams, Joe Hendry, and CM Punk? [Kid says yes to all] I don’t like any of those guys. Who do you not like? You don’t like me? Okay—imagine I’m not standing here and you’re talking to Ethan Page. What would you say?”

The kid simply said “Yo,” to which Page replied that was the same thing he said when he first walked up and pressed him on what comes after that. When the kid asked, “Who’s Ethan Page?” the interaction took an even funnier turn. Page asked him to at least tell people to subscribe to his channel. Instead, the kid said, “Subscribe to Joe Hendry.”

As for the O.J. Simpson reference, O.J. Simpson and the white Bronco became a huge news story on June 17, 1994. After being charged with killing his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman, O.J. didn’t turn himself in to police. Instead, he ran away in a white Ford Bronco with his friend Al Cowlings driving. O.J was in the backseat, holding a gun to his head.

Police followed the Bronco slowly on the highway for over two hours. The chase was shown live on TV, and about 95 million people watched it. It even interrupted the NBA Finals. The chase finally ended at O.J.’s house, where he gave up. The white Bronco became a famous symbol of the case, which is still talked about today. Regardless, Ethan Page referencing O.J. Simpson in such a way isn’t surprising at all since he loves messing with fans and that’s unlikely to change anytime soon.
