WWE NXT’s Gold Rush episode on November 18, 2025, took place at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY. One of the featured matches saw the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships on the line.

Chelsea Green and Ethan Page defended their titles against Thea Hail and Joe Hendry in a mixed tag team bout. Hail and Hendry came in looking to leave with the belts, but Green and Page used their teamwork and experience to keep control of the match. Despite several strong moments from the challengers, the champions held on and retained the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships.

This match was trouble for the champions from the opening bell. Fans were all behind Joe Hendry and Thea Hale. Naturally, Chelsea Green and Ethan Page didn’t like that at all.

Even though the heel champion had to overcome fans cheering against them, they didn’t give up without a fight. Hendry used his brute strength to send Ethan Page across the ring. Then Thea climbed up for a trustfall dive off the top rope onto the champions on the outside.

Green took a move from Thea, and then Page got involved. Thea told him to suck it and she superkicked her. Eventually, Green found herself locked in Thea’s kimora lock, and then Chelsea went down before Page shoved Hendry into them. This gave Chelsea Green an opening to nail an Unpretty-Her for the win.
