Could Sean “X-Pac” Waltman find a new role in WWE? Eric Bischoff seems to think so.

Speaking on 83 Weeks, Bischoff reflected on spending time with Waltman while filming WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats) in Orlando, Florida, and he had nothing but praise for the former D-Generation X star’s ability to coach and mentor younger talent.

“He’s so good at it. He’s passionate about it. Really, really is good,” Bischoff said, making it clear he believes Waltman would be a perfect fit for WWE’s developmental system in Florida. But he also acknowledged that Waltman has built a solid life outside the business and might not be looking for a full-time role.

“Sean’s married, he’s got a wife who’s got a great job in Hollywood and they’ve got a home and he’s got a great life. Just two, three weeks ago when we were together, man, he was living a great life. He may just be ready to make appearances every now and then, I know how that feels. You still love the business. You still have a passion for it, but it’s tempered by reality.”

Waltman has been on WWE’s radar before. Back in 2022, rumors swirled that he could be a Royal Rumble surprise entrant after he got physical at a GCW event. Waltman later admitted he let WWE know he was available if they wanted him, but he wasn’t actively pushing for a spot. That year’s Rumble ended up being one of the final ones under Vince McMahon’s control before Triple H took over creative.

Now, with Triple H and Shawn Michaels running WWE’s top brands, the idea of Waltman stepping into a behind-the-scenes role doesn’t seem far-fetched. Whether he wants to make the move is another story.
