With WWE moving to Netflix, questions are swirling about what happens when their Peacock deal runs out in 2026.

WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff believes the streaming giant might not be ready to give up on pro wrestling just yet. In fact, he sees an opportunity for another promotion to step in and take WWE’s spot.

“Is there a wrestling company out there with enough steam behind it?” Bischoff asked on 83 Weeks. “If they’ve got a substantial audience that’s loyal, and their business appears to be growing, I could see it because content is content and wrestling works.”

Bischoff pointed to the success of TNA Wrestling and Billy Corgan’s NWA revival as potential candidates for a Peacock deal. With WWE moving to Netflix and AEW getting simulcasts on Max, Bischoff thinks other streamers might start betting on wrestling as a consistent draw.

“I think there is an opportunity for TNA or NWA to end up on a Peacock because it works … it can work,” he explained. “And if somebody is out there like TNA—they’re making moves, they’re doing things that imply growth … sometimes that’s all it takes to make someone comfortable placing a bet on you.”

Bischoff has been keeping a close eye on WWE’s new Netflix era, even commenting on Hulk Hogan getting booed during the premiere episode. But as the landscape of wrestling broadcasting continues to shift, it remains to be seen whether Peacock will make a move to replace WWE—or if another streaming giant will jump into the mix.

Do you think Peacock should sign another wrestling promotion if? WWE leaves? Would TNA or NWA be a good fit? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
