Eric Bischoff has heard all the stories about Vince McMahon’s reckless driving — but he says seeing it for himself confirmed everything.

On his 83 Weeks podcast, Bischoff opened up about a moment during his short WWE return in 2019 that left him stunned at the way Vince handled his Bentley.

When the topic of McMahon’s reckless driving charges came up — tied to a July 24, 2025 crash in Westport involving his Bentley Continental GT — Bischoff was asked if he’d ever ridden with Vince. He explained that while he never got into the car with him, what he saw one morning at the airport was enough to back up every story he’d ever heard.

“So I’d always get to the plane early. And one morning, I was sitting up in the plane. I had the window right next to me, right in the seat. I’m looking out and Vince comes flying up in his Bentley. And I had heard all the stories about the way Vince drives.”

From his seat on WWE’s private jet, Bischoff said McMahon looked like a man being chased.

“Now I’m looking at me, looking at him, coming at me, sitting in his, you know, $12 million plane like cops are chasing him. Who’s chasing him, man? He just drifted right up to the side of the plane and jumped out like it was no big deal. And I thought, ‘Those stories are probably true.’”

The story came up in light of McMahon’s current reckless driving case, which has already drawn headlines. His attorney Mark Sherman recently filed a motion to dismiss, telling TMZ the goal is to clear the case while still allowing Vince to show remorse.

Bischoff, however, didn’t need the court case to believe Vince’s reputation behind the wheel. His memory of McMahon flying across the tarmac in a Bentley and slamming to a stop by the plane confirmed everything he’d ever heard from colleagues like Bruce Prichard and Jim Ross — that Vince drives like a maniac.
