Eric Bischoff is setting the record straight—no one refused an invitation to the nWo.

During his Inside The Ropes interview, the former WCW boss was asked if there were ever any wrestlers who turned down a spot in one of the hottest factions in wrestling history. His answer? Not a chance.

Bischoff said every single Monday, talent was basically lining up to join the group, hoping they’d get the call to wear the black and white.

“Did any talent ever refuse to be in the nWo? No. No. Absolutely not. Every Monday afternoon, we’d show up to do TV and there were people outside my office door like puppies waiting for a bone going, ‘Do I get an NWO bone today? Can I join?’ No. There was nobody.”

He didn’t hesitate to double down on just how in-demand the faction was.

“You know, it was so hot. Nobody. Nope. No.”

With names like Hogan, Hall, and Nash fronting the group, it’s no shock that the nWo became the place to be. For Bischoff, the rush to get in wasn’t about ego—it was about opportunity. And according to him, everyone backstage knew it.

The nWo wasn’t just a faction—it was a cultural shift, and apparently, nobody wanted to miss the ride.
